He Emails Me Back Anyway

I couldn't wait to get somewhere with Internet access this morning because I want to see if he respected my request not be contacted again. Since brutality didn't work, Anthony is now trying the soft approach. He is apologizing and offering concessions and politely asking me to reconsider. Maybe he talked to an attorney.

If this had been his original approach I wouldn't be writing this, but they have already exposed their true nature and I have a responsibility to the truth. Reading other's stories (see links) has strengthened my resolve to see this through. The fact that he ignored my request and contacted me again will help me in court. Again, he included a statement that he does not want his words made public and I will honor that request until they become public record as evidence.

I Address His Concerns

My response to his reply was comparatively short. I reminded him that I did not covertly record his telemarketer, but that he voluntarily left the incriminating evidence on my equipment. Copyright law is on my side. Since he threatened to sue me I told him not to contact me about this again.

If he has no problem with what his telemarker said, why is he trying to silence it?

Instead of addressing the gap between promise and delivery. I received a threatening email from some guy named Anthony Carrano who confirms the promises the telemarketer recorded for me are inconsistant with their policy posted on their web site and that I will not be receiving the DVD. I would post his response here in its entirety, but he is afraid for his words to be known and specifically stated in the email that I was not to dislose its contents to anyone, so I am respecting his wishes.

Truth = Freedom

I am sitting in my office thinking about all my time this guy wasted calling me over and over. Companies sometimes pose as operating on Christian principles when they are really just wolves in sheepts clothing. I started thinking other people might be getting harassed like myself. I had forgiven them, but I had a responsibility to try to save others from being treated as I was, so I decided to let everyone hear both sides and let them make their own decision. Before taking this public I contacted the home office to give them a chance to respond.

Telemarketing

There's that number again. A Telemarketer that won't let up. He's been calling for weeks. He keeps refering to himself as "brother." He says he is just waiting for me to call him back so he can send me a DVD presenation of his product. Absolutely Free! I'm in my car so I let it go to voicemail. Later I hear the same scripted speach. If I would just call him back and verify my address. So I do. At least he will stop calling. Instead of verifying my information he goes into this long schpeel about an Internet presentation. I don't even have Internet at home. I use the library and free WiFi when I can find it. When he is done I ask him to send the DVD and I will make a decision on how to proceed after I've seen it. He writes me off as a bad prospect and refuses to do so. "Everything is available on our web site" he says and hangs up.
